Nearly 600 Duck Race fans joined together at East River’s Bayou Park on November 8th to cheer on their duck in the race, hear AFA students and friends perform, and have fun together in beautiful Houston weather. Guests enjoyed snacks and drinks, face painting, giant lawn games, meeting the AFA Duck and ducky-stilt walker, giant bubbles, and more while listening to fantastic student performers. 5,000 rubber ducks leapt into the water from a custom-built cage on a boat from our sponsor Orion Group Holdings, with prize winners announced shortly after. Thank you to all of our supporters, families, volunteers, and friends for a great day, and we will see you on November 7th, 2026 for the 8th Annual Bayou City Duck Race.
