AFA Symphony Orchestra & String Chamber Orchestra

Under the direction of Dr. Clif Evans, the AFA Symphony Orchestra performs Shostakovich’s mighty Symphony No. 5 along with the winner of the Concerto Competition, cellist Bren Staples performing the first movement of Elgar’s Cello Concerto. The String Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Kayoko Dan, will open the concert with Florence Price’s Adoration and The Bear and The Eclipse by Anne Guzzo.

This concert is free and open to the public, with no tickets necessary. Audience members are subject to the venue’s “clear bag policy”, details of which can be found here.
