Lauren Ross
Chamber Music Academy, Summer Music Festival: String Ensembles Institute Strings, Viola
Violist Lauren Ross, a recent dual degree graduate of Rice University, is a passionate community artist and arts advocate. In her second year as a DACAMERA Young Artist, Lauren leads performances and educational workshops across the city, engaging diverse audiences at museums, community centers, and schools. Recent performance venues include the Wortham Theater Center, Museum of Fine Arts, and Rothko Chapel. Her 23/24 season features a world premiere at the Buffalo Bayou Park Cisterns.
Beyond her performing engagements, Lauren heads marketing initiatives at GRAMMY®-nominated Baroque music organization Ars Lyrica Houston, currently celebrating its 20th anniversary season. In addition, she also teaches privately, gigs, rock climbs, and jams all types of musical genres with friends!
