Samantha Arizpe
Chamber Music Academy Strings, Violin
Samantha Arizpe is a professional violinist, freelancer, and educator based in Houston. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player throughout Texas and Florida, including appearances with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonia Gulf Coast. A Houston native and alumna of the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, she earned a Bachelor’s in Violin Performance from the University of Houston and a Master’s from Florida State University. Samantha began her musical journey as a mariachi musician and has performed alongside Grammy-winning artists including Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán. She serves as a teaching artist and alumna of the American Festival of the Arts, piloted the Houston Symphony’s In Harmony Deluxe program, and was previously assistant director and teaching artist for the Houston Youth Symphony’s El Sistema-inspired CODA program, instructing 50–60 students annually. She holds a permanent position as principal second violin with the Symphony of Southeast Texas.
