Marina Ziegler
Violin
Violinist Marina Ziegler began her musical studies at age five at the Sato Center for Suzuki Studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She has since studied with Isabel Trautwein, Eugenia Poustyreva, David Bowlin, and currently studies with Paul Kantor at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, where she is a junior. Marina has performed as soloist with the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra and Suburban Symphony Orchestra, and appeared in Severance Hall as winner of the COYO Concerto Competition. In 2025, she was named National Winner of the MTNA Young Artist String Competition. An avid chamber musician, Marina first explored ensemble playing at CIM’s Preparatory Chamber Music Program, performing on violin, viola, and piano. She has also participated in festivals including the Pacific Music Festival, Chamber Music Northwest’s Young Artist Institute, NYO-USA, and Meadowmount School of Music, where she was awarded a Starling Foundation Scholarship.
