It is almost that time again – the 8th annual Bayou City Duck Race is coming up on November 7th, 2026! We will waddle back to Bayou Park at East River right on Buffalo Bayou, our ducks’ favorite body of water to flap their fins in. We really hope you’ll join us starting at 10am for a FREE super-fun and family-friendly celebration with food, music, and other entertainment and, of course, to watch the rubber ducks swim to win their humans some great prizes! You can adopt a duck (or many ducks!) now for $5/each – all proceeds benefit AFA’s Play It Forward Fund, which makes it possible for students across the Houston area to access our music education programming without financial barriers in their way.
