Auditions
AFA auditions are intended to determine readiness for participation in the program applied to and to help us get to know the applicant.
Applicants to AFA’s Chamber Music Academy and the AFA Summer Music Festival complete an in person audition in order to be screened for admission into that program.
Composition program applicants (Fall, Spring, or Summer), will have an online discussion (instead of an audition) about their current writing experience where they will review previous work they have submitted (where applicable) and any ideas or goals they have.
